Strategic thoughts
A GREAT PROCESS LEADS TO A GREAT OUTCOME — ANCHOR IN PROCESS
Next steps…
-
Codify new hypotheses
- Ie device for factory cat risk monitoring that spits of parameter
-
Upgrade tooling
- A few different telegram chats for different purposes
- Notion dashboard with all of our customer conversations
- Improved DJ functionality so that prep briefs are delivered in advance, next steps are immediately acted upon
- Competitor and/or external resource database (how do we start mapping/tracking what all these competitors are doing)
- Tracking outstanding comms/need to follow up (CRM)
- Leveraging databases
-
Getting organized re contacts (ie new mtgs on the books)
- Steve Blank
- Joe Malchow
- Etc.
-
Answer key questions…
- Why does Avnet : Glencore analogy break down?
-
Upgrade process
- Divide and conquer
- I’ll blow and go on mtgs to set up; w whom do we want to connect?
- You blow and go on a short and finite sprint (time TBD) to get our workflow optimized as much as possible
- Meeting schedule; sprint plan cadence
- Divide and conquer
-
Broader strategic plan
- Determine length of outreach vs synthesis vs hypothesis cycles
Process
-
Daily Debrief Process call
- In person or remote
- No niceties — just run thru the process
- goal is to align on to dos, contacts, reports/resources, companies, and scraps
-
Call process: one person is assigned point for each call/meeting
- Point person is master of ceremony
- Point person is responsible for initial meeting debrief and then runs that portion of the debrief call at the end of the day
- Point person is assigned/identified upon scheduling of each meeting
-
[TO BE SCHEDULED] a weekly mtg to dive deeper into the synthesis/new hypothesis territory
- Goal of this meeting is to review and then modify (add/remove/change) list of hypotheses
